FRIDAY, APRIL 8 – COACH SZEFC 100th TECH WIN RECOGNITION
Fans are encouraged to make their way into the ballpark for pregame ceremonies, during which the Hokies will celebrate Coach Szefc’s 100th career head coaching victory with the program. Szefc – who holds a 495-356-4 record across 17 head coaching seasons – won his 100th game at Tech when he led the Hokies to their 13-4 victory at VMI on March 29 in Lexington.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9 – HARRY POTTER DAY
Fans are invited to join the Hokies in the wizarding world on Saturday when the Tech celebrates Harry Potter Day. The best-dressed witch or wizard in attendance will win a prize courtesy of Virginia Tech athletics while the first 500 fans through the gates at English Field will receive a free beanie.

At concession stands, fans may spend their galleons (dollars) on non-alcoholic Butterbeer or feast on “The Hammer 2” – a cheeseburger topped with pulled pork BBQ sauce, coleslaw and pickled onions (all concession stand transactions are cashless and will require a charge card). Throughout the afternoon, fans may compete in Harry Potter themed games, make magical memories at a Harry Potter photo station, watch clips from their favorite films and be entertained by a live in-venue emcee.

SUNDAY, APRIL 10 – KIDS RUN THE BASES
Fans may collect Tech baseball trading cards of the Hokies’ 2022 senior and graduate student class, while supplies last. After the game, fans are encouraged to stick around and have their trading cards signed by their favorite Tech players.

Following Sunday’s series finale between Tech and NC State, any and all kids in attendance are invited to run the bases at English Field (weather permitting).

FOOD TRUCKS
Throughout Tech’s series against NC State, fans are welcome to snack on food trucks from Heathwood (Friday through Sunday) and Bluegrass BBQ (Friday and Sunday only). Food trucks will be located along the right field patio inside English Field.

Tickets are required for access to Virginia Tech’s five ACC home series this season at English Field, including this weekend when the Hokies welcome NC State to Blacksburg.

Individual tickets are priced at $ 10 while youth ages 6 to 18 are set at $ 5 (children ages 5 and under are free). Virginia Tech students receiving tickets through the student lottery portal may also access home games for free.
